How to Report Phishing or Junk Emails in Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook includes a built-in Report feature that allows you to report suspicious or unwanted email directly from your inbox.

Which option should I choose?

  • Report Phishing: Use this when an email looks suspicious or appears to be trying to steal passwords, personal information, or other sensitive information.
  • Report Junk: Use this for unwanted or spam email that does not appear to be a phishing attempt.

Tip: If you are unsure whether a suspicious message is legitimate, avoid clicking links, opening attachments, or replying to the message.
