Go to: https://vdi.laverne.edu/
You will then proceed to the Horizon login screen:
Install the client by clicking on “Install VMware Horizon Client” (You can still access the Virtual Desktops by using the other option: “VMware Horizon HTML Access”
Find the appropriate Download for your operating system, and click on “Go to Downloads” And Download the Horizon Client
Once downloaded run the installer and accept the default options. When the install is complete you will need to restart your computer.
Add the VDI server:
Click on “Add Server” and type: vdi.laverne.edu
Then click “Connect”
You will be prompted for your username and password. Type your ULV username and password.
Then click “Login”
And double click the: “University of La Verne – Administration Staff” icon to start your Virtual Desktop Session.
Please note!
This desktop is not persistent, meaning anything saved to the desktop will not be there when you next login. Please be sure to save any important files to your OneDrive so they will not be lost.
