Once you hover on a report name an ellipsis icon (…) will appear, click on it 

Select Run as  

Creating Excel file 

• Select Run in background 
• Check Excel  
• Deselect HT​ML 

Emailing report 

Cognos can email the report once it’s completed.  

1. On the Delivery section of the Run as window, there is a Send report by email
2. Select this option
3. Once you've checked this box, a new option (Edit details) on the right will appear 
4. Select Edit details to modify the report recipient list if you'd like. By default, you're the only recipient of the report

Click on Run
