D2L Brightspace: Email Group Members

My instructor says I have groups set up in D2L - how do I find out who is in my group? How do I email members of my group from D2L Brightspace?

My instructor says I have groups set up in D2L - how do I find out who is in my group? How do I email members of my group from D2L Brightspace?

There are two ways to email members of a specific Group in D2L Brightspace:

• Through the Groups tool
• From the Classlist

To email group members from the Groups tool:

1. Click Groups. You'll see a list of the groups you are a member of there.
2. Click the number under the Members column to see a list of group members' names.
3. Click the email icon under the Email column to send an email to all group members.

 

To email group members from the Classlist:

1. Click Classlist.
2. Select Groups from the View by filter.
3. Click Apply.
4. Select your Group name from the drop down menu.
5. Click Apply.
6. Check the box in the upper left corner to select all group members from the list.
7. Click the Email icon at the top of the list.
